PHU QUOC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT EXPANSION PROJECT

The Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Project is one of Vietnam’s key aviation infrastructure developments, with a total investment of approximately VND 22 trillion and a project scale of 1,050 hectares. The project is invested by Sun Airport Center (SAC), a member of Sun Group, with the objective of upgrading the airport to ICAO Category 4E standards, increasing its capacity to 20 million passengers per year, and supporting the hosting of APEC 2027.

The project is planned as a smart airport development, integrating advanced aviation technologies such as the Total Airport Management (TAM) operating model, biometric passenger processing systems for a seamless touchless journey, the ICS baggage handling system, and various automated airport operation solutions. These technologies are designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve passenger experience, and meet international aviation standards.

Within this project, AZB Corporation is responsible for the reinforced concrete structural works and shell construction of Terminal T2. This is one of the project's key components and is being executed in accordance with stringent requirements for technical quality, construction standards, and project schedule.

The participation in the Phu Quoc International Airport Expansion Project provides AZB with the opportunity to contribute to one of Vietnam’s major aviation infrastructure developments, while continuing to engage in large-scale projects that require high standards of engineering, quality control, and construction management.
