AZB Commences Groundbreaking for Vietjet Aviation Academy – Technical Training Center Project
On the morning of August 19, 2025, in the nationwide spirit of celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), 250 key projects were simultaneously commenced and inaugurated across the country, with a total investment of VND 1.28 quadrillion.
At the Hanoi ceremony, General Secretary Tô Lâm, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, together with current and former leaders of the Party and the State, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

At the same time, 250 infrastructure projects in transportation, energy, aviation, and other sectors were simultaneously inaugurated and commenced nationwide, including 89 completed projects and 161 groundbreaking projects, with a total investment of VND 1.28 quadrillion. These projects are expected to contribute to Vietnam’s GDP growth of 8.3–8.5% in 2025, laying the foundation for the country’s target of achieving double-digit growth in the following years.

General Lương Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security (fourth from the left), officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gia Bình International Airport Project in Bắc Ninh Province.
Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VJC) officially commenced two major projects: the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center at Long Thành International Airport and the Technical Training Center at the Vietjet Aviation Academy.

With a total investment of nearly USD 100 million (over VND 1.7 trillion), the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center comprises Hangars No. 3 and 4 at Long Thành, capable of servicing up to 10 aircraft simultaneously with state-of-the-art, internationally standardized facilities. This will become one of the most advanced aviation maintenance hubs in the region, enhancing the overall capacity of Vietnam’s aviation industry.

Alongside this, AZB is honored to serve as the contractor for the Vietjet Aviation Academy’s Technical Training Center Project. This is one of three strategic projects Vietjet is implementing at this time, marking an important milestone in expanding its training capacity and improving the quality of technical human resources for the aviation sector.
The Technical Training Center is expected to become a leading hub for training, research, and development for aircraft maintenance technicians, equipped with modern infrastructure that meets international standards.

AZB’s participation in this nationally significant project—one of the 250 key projects across the country—not only reflects the trust placed by Vietjet as the investor but also affirms AZB’s competence and reputation in the field of industrial construction and aviation infrastructure.
This event marks another step forward in AZB’s journey of partnering with leading enterprises in Vietnam, delivering sustainable, high-quality projects, and contributing to the development of both the aviation industry and the national economy.

At the Cà Mau ceremony, Minister of National Defense General Phan Văn Giang and other delegates pressed the button to commence and inaugurate key projects in the province.

The Hải Anh Wind Power Plant in Quảng Trị was officially put into operation.

At the Đồng Tháp ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình and other leaders cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Rạch Miễu 2 Bridge. After the ceremony, delegates and local residents participated in the first traffic flow across the bridge.
