AZB WORKS ON TAEKWANG FACTORY PROJECT IN PHASE 2 OVERCOMING THE PROGRESS TO THE EFFECTS OF STORM 3 AND 4

In addition, Taekwang Can Tho factory is invested with a production line with modern technology, which ensures industrial hygiene and discharge in accordance with Vietnamese and international regulations. It is estimated that after going into stable operation, Taekwang Can Tho factory will create jobs for about 35,000 laborers and annual turnover of over US $ 455 million.

According to Nam Jung Dae, General Director of Taekwang Can Tho Co., Ltd., the shoe production technology of the factory uses machines and equipment in accordance with the standards set by Nike Sports Group (United States). Products made will be distributed according to orders of Nike and exported to countries around the world.

In September 2016, Taekwang Can Tho factory Phase 1 was started and the general contractor was AZB Joint Stock Company. By October 2017, the factory was officially put into operation with 1,300 workers and reached 4,000 by the end of 2018. In 2019, according to the plan of production expansion process, Phase 2 of the factory was built. The Phase 2 has been started and AZB Joint Stock Company continues to be trusted by the investor to become a general contractor.

At the end of July 2019, the project entered the final days to complete the foundation phase of workshops A and F with a total floor area of nearly 20,000 m2. Despite the constant impact of two storms No. 3 and No. 4 landing, the project management board of Taekwang Can Tho and the construction workers were more than two weeks ahead of schedule with the quality of the project and safety is guaranteed.
