TAEKWANG CANTHO FACTORY PHASE 1 – THE LARGEST PROJECT OF FDI INVESTMENT CAN THO READY TO GO TO PRODUCTION

This is the largest foreign direct investment (FDI) project in Can Tho, the factory Taekwang project alone accounted for about 172 million US dollars in total 200 million US dollar investment FDI at Can Tho, thereby contributing an important part in raising the total FDI into Vietnam in the past 3 months more than 4 billion USD, increase 119,1% the same period in 2015.

Before officially starting construction of the Taekwang factory, Mr Vo Thanh Thong – Chairman of the People’s Committees of Can Tho City has committed to speeding up the site clearance, create all favorable conditions to Taekwang and AZB Joint Stock Company – General Design & Contractor can deploy the project on schedule, as well as facilitate the operation process later.

The factory was built located at Hung Phu 2B industrial park, Cai Rang district, including construction such as production workshops, manufacturing workshops, warehouses and offices…. With total scale more than 62.000 m2, in which scale used for factories producing semi-finished shoes is 52.000 m2, the remaining scale is for service, commercial, warehouse for lease.
