THE JOY OF THE END OF THE YEAR: AZB HAND OVERS TWO FACTORIES OF THE LARGEST BATTERY PRODUCTION COMPANY OF SINGAPORE
Leo International Technology Co., Ltd. (also known as Leoch) was established in 1999 and is known as the largest manufacturer, exporter of batteries in the world. Currently, Leoch has 8 factories, three research and development centers in China, Sri Lanka, India and Vietnam with a total staff of over 11,000 and a total factory area of over 1 million sqm. Beside that, Leoch has also established more than 40 member companies such as the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia, meeting the needs of consumption markets in 100 countries around the world.
In Vietnam, Leoch established two companies in 2017, and built two production factory, That are the Leoch Super Power Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Leoch Battery Co., Ltd. Vietnam, located at Lot B8A and B8B, Becamex-Binh Phuoc Industrial Park, Minh Thanh Commune, Chon Thanh District, Binh Phuoc Province.
Speaking to PRC journalist, Customer Relations Manager – Ms. Joyce Lam shared about setting up and building a factory in Vietnam.
After putting into operation, we estimate that the two factories will double the production volume in foreign countries, thereby meeting the increasing market demand, as well as eliminating instabilities of the market and the fluctuations of prices in the domestic market. We believe that the general contractor will try their best to meet the agreed schedule and quality.
At the end of 2018, AZB Joint Stock Company, in the position of general contractor, has cooperated with Leoch to officially start two factories, Leoch Super Power Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Leoch Battery Vietnam Co., Ltd. With a total area of more than 68,000m2 and two main factories, the two factories will contribute to solve jobs for more than 2,000 local workers. In the last months of the Year of the Pig 2019, after one year of construction, AZB handed over two factories to the investor to officially go into production, meeting the schedule and quality.
