THERE WILL BE MORE 19 INDUSTRIAL PARKS IN THANH HOA

According to Thanh Hoa web portal, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to draft implementation plan of the Program to develop Nghi Son Economic Zone (KTNS) and industrial zones (IZs) in the 2021-2025 period.

The purpose of implementation plan of the Program on Development of Economic Zones & Industrial Parks builds and develops the Economic Zone into one of the key coastal industrial - urban and service centers of the country, creating a motivation to promote economic growth of the province, region and the whole country.

Besides, the program also aims to build and develop industrial zones with synchronous and modern infrastructure system, creating favorable conditions to attract investment, quickly filing up, promoting economic growth of the province; ensure the achievement of the targets in the development program of the economic zone and industrial zones in Thanh Hoa province in the period of 2021 - 2025.

The draft clearly defines the main tasks, on the development of Nghi Son Economic Zone focusing on a number of tasks: the planning and management works includes implementation of ongoing projects such as the Detailed Plan of Thanh Hoa SeaPort, the main functional subdivisions in the Economic Zone, expose to be completed by June 30^th, 2022. At the same time, improve the management of planning, minimize violations of construction planning and construction organization, land use planning and other violations as prescribed.

Regarding to the the task of investing in infrastructure construction, Thanh Hoa prioritizes budget capital to focus on targeting investment in transitional projects from the previous period, effort to complete project and put it into use in 2021. Calling for socialized capital and public-private partnerships (PPP) to contribute together with budget capital to gradually improve the essential technical and social infrastructure in Nghi Son Economic Zone, especially the main transport routes and Nghi Son SeaPort, complete the industrial park technical infrastructure as a basis foundation for attracting investment.

Regarding to the investment attraction, focus on solving difficulties and obstacles for large projects such as Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical Complex... At the same time, supporting large - scale projects to complete construction and go into operation to ensure progress such as NGHI SON 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant, Steel Rolling Mill Phase 2...; mobilize and attract investment projects to process products after petrochemical refining and auxiliary industrial projects into industrial parks. Besides, it also encourages investment in urban and social infrastructure development projects; project of resort tourism…

Regarding the task of developing industrial parks, the draft construction of tasks on planning and attracting investment. In particular, the planning task is integrating the planning for development of industrial parks in the province into the provincial planning in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045 to submit to the Prime Minister for approval with 19 industrial parks, total area of 5,921 hectares. Implementing the construction plan of industrial parks after the provincial planning for the period of 2021 - 2030, the vision to 2045 is approved.

In addition, the draft also issues a number of other tasks on state management such as: good implementation of administrative reform; develop human resource to meet the requirements of economic zone and industrial zone; good implementation of land management and environmental management in economic zone and industrial zone; good implementation of physiological needs, ensure security and safety, and prevent fire and explosion in industrial zones and economic zone.
