Factory Project: SPORTS SHOES PRODUCTION

The Taekwang Can Tho Sports Footwear Manufacturing Factory is a large-scale industrial project developed by Taekwang Can Tho Co., Ltd., a member of the Taekwang Group – one of South Korea’s leading industrial corporations and a strategic manufacturing partner of global sportswear brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Puma.

Located in Hung Phu 2B Industrial Park, Can Tho City, the project covers a total area of 719,113 m² (over 72 hectares), making it one of the most significant foreign direct investment (FDI) projects in the Mekong Delta region. The factory is designed as a modern manufacturing complex specializing in the production of sports footwear components and finished products for export, meeting the stringent requirements of international supply chains.

AZB was appointed as the Design & Build General Contractor and MEPF contractor for the project. Throughout the development process, AZB delivered multiple construction phases, including infrastructure works, production facilities, auxiliary buildings, utility systems, and landscape development across the factory complex.

With its large-scale investment and advanced manufacturing facilities, the project plays an important role in enhancing Taekwang Can Tho’s production capacity while contributing to industrial development, job creation, and economic growth in the Mekong Delta region. The factory is recognized as one of Vietnam’s key export-oriented sports footwear manufacturing facilities, supporting global supply chains for leading international brands
